Saving Things vs. Hoarding

“Ya just never know when you’re gonna need it one day.”
This is a very common statement that pretty much everyone has said at one time or another, but there is a fine line between holding onto a few things “just in case” and allowing it to grow and accumulate to an unhealthy level. This is where one must consider if it is more than things and is on the cusp or has reached an actual hoarding disorder status.
Hoarding affects far more people than realized and is often stigmatized as the person with the disorder as dirty or lazy, which is not the case.
